This legal notice (hereinafter, the “Legal Notice”) governs the use of the service of the Internet portal (hereinafter, the “Web”) of SUSPENS Project of the European manufacturing technology cluster (hereinafter ECM2 cluster).

Description of the services provided

The purpose of the website is to provide information about all the activities of the SUSPENS project.

The EMC2 Cluster strives to provide information on the site that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies and shortcomings in updating, whether these are its fault or that of third-party partners who provide this information.

All information on the website is given for information purposes only and is subject to change. Furthermore, the information on the website is not exhaustive. It is given subject to modifications having been made since it was put on line.

Content and use

The User is aware, and accepts, that access to this website does not mean, in any way, the establishment of a commercial relationship with SUSPENS.

The content of this website represents the views of the author only and is his/her sole responsibility; it cannot be considered to reflect the views of the European Commission and/or the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA)or any other body of the European Union. The European Commission and the Agency do not accept any responsibility for use that may be made of the information it contains.

Intellectual and industrial property

SUSPENS owns the intellectual property rights of the content of web pages, their graphic design and codes and, therefore, their reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other activity that can be performed with the contents of its web pages is forbidden, even quoting the sources, except with the written permission of SUSPENS. All trade names, trademarks or distinctive signs of any kind contained in the Company’s web pages are the property of their owners and are protected by law.


The existence of links in SUSPENS’s web pages is intended for information purposes only and in no case entails a suggestion, invitation or recommendation regarding said links.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

Per GDPR dated April 27, 2016, SUSPENS informs the User of the existence of automated processing of personal data created by and for SUSPENS and under its responsibility, to maintain and manage the relationship with the User, as well as information activities. At the time of acceptance of these general conditions, SUSPENS will require the User to collect some essential data necessary for service delivery.

File, form registration and personal data

It is compulsory to fill in the registration form to access and benefit from certain services offered on the website. Failure to provide such personal data or not accepting this data protection policy means that it is impossible to subscribe, register or participate in any of the promotions where personal data is requested.

In accordance with the terms of the GDPR dated April 27, 2016, we inform you that the personal data obtained as a result of your registration as a User will be incorporated into a file owned by SUSPENS.

In France, personal data is notably protected by law no. 78-87 of 6 January 1978, law no. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, article L. 226-13 of the French Penal Code and the European Directive of 24 October 1995.

When using the website, the following information may be collected: the URL of the links through which the user accessed the website, the user's access provider, the user's Internet protocol (IP) address.

In any case, the EMC2 clusteronly collects personal information relating to the user for the purpose of certain services offered by the website. The user provides this information with full knowledge of the facts, in particular when he/she enters it. It is then specified to the user of the site whether or not they are required to provide this information.

In accordance with the provisions of articles 38 and following of the law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, any user has the right to access, rectify and oppose personal data concerning him/her, by making a request by e-mail to:

No personal information of the user of the site is published without the user's knowledge, exchanged, transferred, ceded or sold on any medium whatsoever to third parties. Only the assumption of the purchase of the activity of the EMC2 cluster and its rights would allow the transmission of the said information to the eventual purchaser who would in turn be bound by the same obligation of conservation and modification of the data with respect to the user of the site

The site is not declared to the CNIL as it does not collect personal information.

The databases are protected by the provisions of the law of 1 July 1998 transposing Directive 96/9 of 11 March 1996 on the legal protection of databases.

Accuracy and authenticity of the data provided

The User is solely responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the data included, excluding SUSPENS from any responsibility in this regard. Users guarantee and are responsible, in any case, for the accuracy, validity and authenticity of the personal data provided, and undertake to keep such data duly updated. The user agrees to provide complete and accurate information in the registration or subscription form. SUSPENS is not responsible for the authenticity of information that is not created by SUSPENS itself and for information provided from another source. SUSPENS is not liable for any possible damages that may result from the use of such information. SUSPENS reserves the right to update, modify or delete the information contained in its web pages and may even limit or deny access to such information. SUSPENS is not liable for any loss or damage that the User may suffer as a result of errors, defects and/or omissions in the information provided by SUSPENS as long as it comes from sources other than SUSPENS.

Security measures

SUSPENS has adopted the legally required levels of Personal Data protection security, and attempts to install those other means and additional technical measures within its reach to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of Personal Data provided to SUSPENS and will not be liable for any damages that may result from interference, deletion, interruption, computer viruses, telephone breakdowns or disconnections in the operation of this electronic system, caused by causes beyond SUSPENS’s control; delays or blockages in the use of this electronic system caused by deficiencies or overloads of telephone lines or surcharges in the Data Processing Center, in the Internet system or in any other electronic systems, as well as damages that may be caused by third parties through illegitimate intrusions beyond SUSPENS’s control. However, the User must be aware that Internet security measures are not foolproof.

Acceptance and consent

The user hereby declares that he or she has been informed of the conditions regarding the protection of personal data, accepting and agreeing to the automated processing thereof by SUSPENS, in the manner and for the purposes indicated in this Personal Data Protection Policy. Certain services provided on the Portal may contain specific conditions with special provisions concerning the protection of Personal Data.
